Anyone who names their dog Pickles, is good in my book. I mean, what a fantastic doggie name. And somehow, "Pickles" just fits this bouncy, fluffy doodle to a tee.
I met Robin, Michael and Pickles along the C&O Canal in Washington's Georgetown neighborhood. Georgetown has a classic old town charm that was perfect for photographing this stylish trio. We lucked out with a beautiful fall day to stroll the waterfront, play in the park and explore the alleyways.
Observing how happy this family is and how at ease they are with each other was such a joy for me. During a year when all things seem to be going sideways, it was a reminder that yes, good people exist and we will get through this. :)
